　　Harbin Measuring & Cutting Tool Group Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called “HMCT Group”), as the only one enterprise which can manufacture measuring and cutting tools in the 156 key projects during China’s First "Five-Year-Plan" period, did a great historical contribution to the development and growth of tools and measuring tools manufacturing industry of China in the past 50 years. 　　With adjusting, restructuring and developing to our enterprise over half century, now HMCT Group has become a large scale enterprise group which integrates scientific researching, industrial manufacturing and trading, and our enterprise has taken a leading position in tools and measuring tools industry. In 2005,we completed preliminary ownership reform and established a mixed ownership with “state holding and employees sharing”. We also established and improved modern enterprise system. Meanwhile, in order to import advanced technology from abroad and change the undeveloped situation of machine tools and tools products at home and to accelerate the machine tools of our country growing to industrialization, we successfully purchased German KELCH Company so as to obtain a platform to participate in competition on international market. In this way the technology of our enterprise links up with the international high end technology, which means a delightful step we made in the international strategy of “going out”.
